Stenhousemuir return to league action on Saturday afternoon as they take the trip to New Central Park to face Kelty Hearts.
Stenhousemuir will be looking to extend their unbeaten run and maintain momentum at the top end of the table. Kick off is at 5:30 and the match is live on BBC Alba
The Warriors head into the fixture in buoyant mood following an emphatic 4-0 victory over Greenock Morton in the William Hill Scottish Cup last weekend.
Ross Meechan opened the scoring, before Matty Aitken doubled the advantage just before the interval with a powerful header.
Captain Gregor Buchanan then struck against his former club, and Matty Aitken capped off an outstanding afternoon with a composed finish from inside the area to seal progression into the Round of 16.
League form has been equally impressive. In their most recent William Hill League One outing, the Warriors swept aside East Fife with a dominant 5-0 win at Ochilview.
Ross Taylor’s quickfire double put Stenhousemuir firmly in control at half-time, before second-half goals from Olly Whyte, Dale Carrick, on his return from injury, and Nicky Jamieson completed a comprehensive performance.
Gary Naysmith’s side are now unbeaten in six matches across all competitions and currently sit second in the William Hill League One table.
Kelty Hearts arrive into the game having progressed in the William Hill Scottish Cup last weekend, edging past Cove Rangers on penalties.
Cove took the lead through Mitchell Megginson, but an own goal from Justin Eguaibor levelled the tie and forced spot-kicks, where Kelty held their nerve to win 5-3.
League form, however, has proven more challenging for the Maroon Machine. Their previous league outing ended in a 3-1 defeat away to Queen of the South.
Craig Johnstone opened the scoring for Kelty, but goals from Jack Stott, Reece Lyon and a last minute Liam Smith strike turned the match in the hosts’ favour.
Kelty currently sit bottom of the William Hill League One table, four points adrift of ninth-placed Cove Rangers, and have recorded just one win in their last six league fixtures.
With confidence high and form firmly on their side, Stenhousemuir will be aiming to continue their strong run and apply further pressure at the top of the division.
Kelty Hearts, meanwhile, will be looking to build on their recent cup success as they battle for crucial league points.
