Damage to Ochilview Park

Stenhousemuir Football Club is disappointed to have to report damage to the facility over the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July and then again on Monday 13th July.

The club is working tirelessly to prepare Ochilview for the new season and is deeply grateful to a fantastic team of people who have helped over recent weeks with cleaning, tidying and maintenance. Unfortunately some of this hard work and preparation is being undone by individuals who are choosing to enter the facility illegally and then deliberately cause damage to our home. There has been a few incidents of concern recently however the weekend of the 11th and 12th of July resulted in the most serious damage yet. This is now becoming a significant problem and the club has been forced to take measures to prevent non-permitted use and further damage to its facility.

After taking advice from our local community police team the club has decided to apply anti-climb paint to the top of all fences and walls with appropriate signage in place to warn off any potential intruders. Stenhousemuir FC encourages anyone thinking of trying to enter Ochilview Park illegally to think again and please avoid climbing over the walls and fences. The club also appeals to our community to ask you to please report to the police on 101 if you do see anyone trying to gain illegal entry to Ochilview Park. It is regrettable that the club has been forced to take such measures however the priority must be on ensuring Ochilview Park is a welcoming, inclusive and safe place for the many people who visit the club and benefit from its programmes.

The club looks forward to opening back up to members over the next few weeks and to hopefully welcoming supporters back to our home for the start of the season.
