Job Description
Title: Community Football Development Officer
Location: Ochilview Park, Gladstone Road, Stenhousemuir, FK5 4QL
Reports to: Head of Charity
Hours: Full-time (37.5 per week)
Salary: £20,000-£23,000 (depending on relevant experience)

At Warriors in the Community – the charity arm of Stenhousemuir Football Club – we are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and reliable person to join our small and dedicated team and drive our community programme forward.
Job Purpose
The Community Football Development Officer (CFDO) will lead on specific areas of a high performing Community Football programme, and must be able to act with integrity and a high-level of professionalism at all times. They will report directly to the Head of Charity and have overall responsibility for the administration, leadership and growth of our Boys Community Teams. They will work closely with our other Community Football Development Officer and be responsible for other delegated programmes, including all duties related to our Scottish FA partnership and funded projects. They will be responsible for setting their own working pattern but will be expected to be visible and available to support teams, coaches and volunteers at evenings and weekends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead our Boys Community Teams programme, including all administrative tasks – liaising with Scottish FA, Scottish Youth FA, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor, develop and support the Volunteer and Casual Coach Workforce, including through delivery of club-organised CPD where appropriate.
- Lead all Scottish FA funded projects and be point of contact for SFA partnership.
- Lead our Holiday Camp programmes.
- Act as Child Protection and Well-being Officer, ensuring all policy, procedures and practices are up-to-date and communicated clearly.
- Work closely with other Community Football Development Officer to ensure ALL programmes and projects are delivered to an exceptional standard.
- Be a role model in our Community by living the ethos and values of our Club and Charity, and build strong, positive relationships with young people in our programmes.
- Positively promotion ALL our Community Teams, programmes and projects.
Key Tasks
- Leadership and development of Warriors in the Community / Stenhousemuir FC Boys Community teams. Ensure that all duties related to training & match scheduling, player & coach welfare, player registrations, and training structure & content, is delivered to a high standard.
- Ensure Volunteer and Casual Coach Workforce are compliant with coach education requirements, and organise meetings and CPD (where appropriate) to upskill workforce.
- Be open and approachable to all coaches, staff, volunteers and parents and deal with any feedback or concerns in a timely, professional and positive way.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders (such as Scottish FA, Scottish Youth FA. local league associations, Larbert High School, Active Schools, etc) and all local community clubs.
- Ensure all Scottish FA funded programmes and projects are delivered to a high standard, Scottish FA Live administration is completed accurately and to deadline.
- Be proactive about developing own Coaching practice, ensuring high delivery standards for
- Ensure knowledge of all Safeguarding / Child Protection & Well-being legislation, procedure and process is up-to-date and communicated effectively.
- Any other tasks, related to the work of the Club and Charity, where appropriate and / or directed by the Head of Charity.
The Responsibilities and Tasks above reflect the CFDO role at this time. As the individual and Charity grows, it is expected that these will evolve over time.

| Education, Qualificatio ns & Training | · Qualified to Degree level (any subject) OR HND sport-related/equivalent qualification OR significant relevant experience in a similar role.

| Employment is conditional on the successful applicant undergoing reference and PVG checks, plus successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
