There will be a fresh new look to the Warriors when they run on to the pitch at Ochilview this Saturday.
New season. New pitch. New third kit.
The new strip is actually a temporary solution in response to a global issue that has impacted Stenhousemuir FC. As has now been widely reported, a number of sports kit manufacturers are facing unprecedented difficulties with the production of football strips. This has been compounded by world-wide supply chain issues.
Puma, the Stenhousemuir FC supplier has been affected, and as a result of this they haven’t been able to supply us with new home matchday strips in time for the start of the men’s season which kicks off this weekend. Whilst we have made it known that this is incredibly disappointing, we do of course recognise that we are not alone with this issue affecting a number of clubs throughout the UK.
In order to ensure that our sponsorship arrangements are fulfilled, the club, together with our local kit broker RJM Sports, has put in place a ‘plan B’ for this eventuality. Therefore, this weekend will see the debut of our new third kit. We will use this where possible until our new home and away kit order is fulfilled by Puma. We are grateful to RJM sports for their support in working with us on this contingency.
Therefore, it’ll be a new look for the Warriors at home on Saturday, as we kick off the new cinch League 2 season.
